Machine Storage
Rules
All User's Responsibilities:
- Sign the machine out (with your cell number)
- Keep it plugged in
- Return to home base when done
- do NOT unplug probes or otherwise “troubleshoot”
- Keep it neat. That includes all cables.
- Changing wipe container when it is empty (at the base of each machine)
Pictures of Proper and Improper Handling
The machines are there for you to use. Take care of them.
Hosting Team Responsibilities
If machine is assigned to a team, that team is responsible for maintenance of the assigned machine. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Making sure that machine is returned to the room at the end of the day
- Reminding anyone taking the machine to sign it out
- Maintaining the signout sheet. Copies can be printed from here [link to sign-out sheet]
- cleaning the machines
- keeping machines plugged in and all cables neat.
- Changing wipe container when it is empty (at the base of each machine)
- Emailing us if machine has issues [link to email]
- Making sure the key to the common US machine area is in its place.
